In the United States, Versele oversees four core company brands: Versele, Higgins Premium Pet Foods, Cavalor and Roudybush.
· Versele and Higgins Premium Pet foods operate out of Miami, FL and offer a wide assortment of food, treats and supplements for birds, small animals and pigeons. They are committed to providing pets with the highest quality nutrition free of any artificial flavors, colors and preservatives.
· Cavalor operates out of Dalton, GA and produces a complete line of premium horse feed, supplements and care products. They are focused on addressing the unique nutritional issues and challenges in the equine industry and are considered a leading nutrition solution provider.
· Roudybush operates out of Sacramento, CA and is a specialized bird food manufacturer. It offers science-based pellets, nectars, squab, and other diets for companion birds.
Developing both a national and international sales strategy with a focus on the global market (outside of Spain)
Manage a portfolio of international distributors
Monitor sales evolution by geographical area and market segment
Work together closely with marketing and product development to define action plans & communication to achieve growth targets
Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer visits
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and regular performance reports
Full ownership of sales performance with a direct report to the general manager
Sales experience, preferably in international sales
Willing and able to travel on a regular basis (=50%)
Strong affinity with the pet food industry is a plus
Analytical skills combined with a hands-on approach
Professional proficiency in both English & either Spanish or Catalan is a must
Comfortable working in a small company environment with high responsibility
